Had to tow my car to Craig’s (after hours) on a Thurs evening and on a busy Friday, they managed to fit me in and replace my battery on an Audi A4. They had my car ready by 2:00 Friday afternoon. If you need a reputable auto mechanic - you should consider Craig’s Auto Service on corner of Rt 53 & Warrenville Ave (also BP Gas Station) in Lisle for all your car needs. My kids drive in from the city to have their car’s maintenance performed here now. Worth the drive. Convenient, trustworthy & reasonable. |

it was great ... as always ..been coming here for years . A nice honest shop that often does more than just fix your car ..like drive you home if you need a ride. You can talk to them about your car, what they have done ,what did they find, and did they see anything about to break or wear out like Tires and They will tell you , without trying to sell you about something they notice you will be needing sometime later ..I never walk away thinking they didn't need to replace that ..or feeling cheated . I tell anyone to take their car there .Meet the nice people who work there, talk to Matt the head mechanic and the owner Craig both really smart and know what they are doing.. Craig & Kerry were prompt and courteous as usual. They got the vehicle in early identified safety needs that we weren’t acutely aware of and were able to get parts and the work done very timely. They evaluated a tire air issue and didn’t see the need for additional service work that they could have pushed for but let us decide on the need/cost aspect ourselves. Their help keeping our vehicles going safely down the road is always appreciated!! |

They strike me as the kind of people that would be good in any industry becasue they are professional, polite and timely. I have used their shop since 2000 after my then wife had a flat tire by their facility. They treated her great and we started having all our work done there. I put almost 230,000 miles on my last car because of Craig, Cary and Matt. |

We bring both our cars to Craig's regularly. We went in for an oil change on Saturday morning and before my appointment asked Cary to look at the tire that we had patched a couple months ago in Galena that is still losing air. We thought there was some issue with the patch, but they found another nail and patched the tire for us. The work was done quickly and they even washed our car before we picked it up. We will continue to bring our cars to Craig's and we're happy we have a team we can trust to help maintain our cars. |

Craig's Auto Service was amazing! Once again, my daughter hit some pot holes in the city that caused havoc with rims and tires. She called me (Dad) and I referred her to Craig's. Due to parts and being mid week, I said, you might have to wait to get it repaired. She called and explained the problem and was able to drive out and drop the car off at 7am that same morning and picked it up that afternoon. That is service. She is now a customer for life and will drive or have her car towed to Craig's for all her car needs. I brought my 12 year old Honda Odyssey with A/C problem thinking I needed to recharge freon or fix the leak. Craig calls me to let me know that it was the bad relay caused the A/C not working. I called ahead and described my problem and they they were able to fit me right in, they diagnosed the problem (rough running), ordered the part, installed it (ignition coil on the 3rd cylinder) and tested it it all in about an hour! It's convenient that they let us drop the car off in the morning. It's also a gas station which means you can pick up and pay for your car after the service hours are over. Provided quick and effective work. Oil change, fluids, fixed a rear view mirror. Also offered suggestions for spark plug and gear shifter, but was not pushy about absolutely needing the work now. I will likely do spark plugs at next visit with them and continue to consult them on the shifter. All this was able to be done while I was at work. I dropped car off at 7:30, they drove me to my office. They called and picked me up at office at 11:00, brought me back to shop and I got car. This was very convenient. |

Recently went to this garage. Let me say they are great. They test drove the car with me in it so we could hear any noises together; that was a new one for me and it worked out great. They were very honest and the fact that they work with the gas station is a plus. You can pick up your car anytime and make an appt at anytime. The only suggestion I would have is if they had more hours. Oh and they washed my car for me on top of it all. I know dealerships do this but a body shop. Two thumbs up. |

Great job fixing my tailgate latch on my Silverado which I could no longer open. Brought the truck over mid-morning and by early afternoon had it back. Fair pricing, and solid work. I recently had my Jeep Grand Cherokee in for a full drive train service at Craig's Auto. I was hesitant about taking it anywhere to have the work done, given my previous experience with Chrysler transmissions. The dealer quoted me twice what Craig's shop did, that was easy to pass on. I've had the Jeep back a couple of days, and its running well. The transmission has a noticeably smoother action when going from Park to Reverse and vice versa. I have a 140k miles on this truck, I hope I put a lot more on. I would recommend Craig's shop. |

Not really much to say. They found the problem and fixed it and did an oil change. The cost allows seems reasonable there at least compared to other shops I have dealt with. I work near by so they will give me a ride there and back which is really handy. Also they don't come up other problems that don't really exist unlike the tire place last year that wanted to replace my battery that is still going strong. |

Craig runs a reputable, reliable auto service center. His staff are great....always friendly and certainly knowledgeable/skilled mechanics. His service manager is Kerry (not sure of his last name) and he is always on top of things and has been w/ Craig for 20+ years. I was turned on to them from my boss, as he's been going to them for years, for everything from oil changes to brake jobs. I recently had a tire blow on my wife's car and had some quotes from some of the bigger tire businesses in the area. But as usual, I'd rather give Craig my business, so Kerry checked his suppliers and the best he came up with was $269 out the door for an 18" Bridgestone tire. It was only $9 higher than the lowest quote I had from elsewhere, but irregardless Kerry offered to match the price and I agreed. Just one example of many out there of an auto service center that is based on excellent and trustworthy work/people. Craig's is definitely my go to mechanic for any issues I have w/ either of my cars! |

I had gotten a quote from my regular oil change place to get my front brakes fixed - they said i needed new calipers, pads, and rotors. The quote was a little steep so I decided to get a second opinion. I stopped by Craig's right around closing time - I had been there for gas as it's close to my work but never for car repair. The mechanic I spoke with was very knowledgable and nice - he didn't even seem to mind that i kept him after work asking a bunch of questions. As a young woman who knows nothing about cars I am always uncomfortable at car places - I feel like the guys normally either speak down to me because I don't know about cars, use a lot of words I don't know and get annoyed when I don't understand them, or are trying to get me to buy services I don't need. I DID NOT HAVE THIS EXPERIENCE AT ALL! Everything was explained in terms I could understand. My questions were answered without delay and I felt understood and respected. I brought my car in early Friday morning for a quote. I was called by 11 am and Cary told me I didn't even need my calipers replaced. He offered me a quote that was MUCH cheaper then my original and included more services and they got all the work done the same day! I was 100% happy with my experience at Craig's. (Well... I guess not 100%... no one LIKES paying hundreds to get their car fixed but what can you do?) I don't think I'll be going anywhere else for car services. Craig's has found a life-long customer! |

When my Civic was making loud noises and I thought the muffler had to be replaced, I took it to Honda and I was told "It looks as though the muffler was damaged in an accident, and needs to be replaced for $500." We took it to Craig's for a second opinion and he was able to straighten out a bent piece that was causing the noise. His generosity in fixing our car in minutes for no charge has guaranteed a lifetime customer. |

We have taken both of our cars to Craig's for a couple of years now. About a year ago we had a loud sound coming from our muffler. We took our civic to the Honda dealership and they gave us a $550 estimate. We took it to Craig's and he pointed out a dent that was causing it to vibrate against the chasis. He fixed it without a charge. Honesty, what a refreshing notion. We have highly recommended Craig's to friends and family. |
